Banana bread. Truly amazing. My mom has been making this banana bread for years and it’s a crowd pleaser! It’s a great breakfast or snack that tastes heavenly and fills your kitchen with a savory scent. This delicious bread is easy to make with few ingredients. 1 cup sugar
1⁄2 cup shortening
3 rotten bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat your oven to 350. Cream 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of shortening in a bowl. Stir in 2 eggs until evenly mixed.
Add bananas into sugar bowl. In a separate bowl, add flour and baking soda. Gradually fold flour mixture into banana mixture until you have a consistent texture. You can add any toppings such as walnuts, chocolate chips, blueberries, or coconut shavings. Put your dough into a bread pan. (I used a 9 by 5)
Bake for 1 hour or until a poked toothpick comes back clean.
Wait about 10 minutes before you cut into it. Enjoy!!!
