About Us

Hello friends!! Welcome to our blog! We are a group of Christians. From our favorite recipes, to tidbits of the Bible, we will be sharing all aspects of our life! Here’s a little bit about us.

Hi! My name is Emily. Being the oldest of my siblings and learning to take care of them, I’d like to say I’m the “mom friend.” If you want cookies or need a band-aid, I’ve got your back. 😉

My favorite memories as a child all revolve around my friends and family. Kara and I played some pretty awesome games in kindergarten. I also LOVE the lake. My parents bought a boat when I was about 5, and the lake has been my favorite place since. Tubing, swimming, tanning, paddleboarding, reading while you’re on the water-all the best things ever. When I was in fourth grade, I started playing volleyball. Since then, the sport has become a huge part of my life. It is truly my passion.

It sounds like I’ve basically had the “perfect” life since I was born. Good grades, amazing friends, the best family. However, something was missing. The past year has been very tough. The one puzzle piece of my life wasn’t there. Finally, I let Jesus into my life. My parents are good Christians, but I wasn’t engaged. I knew I loved God, but I didn’t pay attention at mass, or read the Bible. Letting Him in and telling Jesus know I needed help opened my eyes to how precious this life is. I know that everything is in God’s hands.

Currently life is good! Very busy. One of my recent hobbies has been photography. I’m hoping I can work more at that. I love reading, journaling, baking, and being around my friends and family. I’m excited to see what God’s plans are for me and the future of this website!

I am so excited for the blog! My name is Kara. I am the honest and funny one out of the writers, and can’t wait to share content here! Coming from a religious family, I have been fortunate enough to know God on a deep level from a very young age. I am ecstatic to grow this relationship. My father has been a MAJOR religious leader in my life. He has spent countless hours studying books and praying for me! I can only hope one day to walk alongside him in our faith journey.

Besides from goofing around with my extended family, I love hanging out with my tight knit group of friends.

You can expect a lot of monthly favorites from me, and what podcasts I enjoy listening to. Taking a relaxing bath after a long day (or any day of that matter) is common for me. I hope that you can learn things from me, and more importantly this experience can teach me lessons that I will take away in life!

Hey!! I am Addi! I am sooo excited to start this blog!! I am a middle child, so I have learned many life lessons. Since I come from a “big” family, God has always been a really been asset in my life. I have learned so many things that I am very eager and excited to share with you guys!!

I love to hangout with my friends and family! One of my favorite places is the lake. I love to take friends out to our cabin. Some of my favorite things to do are tube, tan, jam out to songs on the boat, paddle board, read, and bonfires!! Besides going to the lake, I love to go to the local YMCA, out to eat, or I love to just go and hangout at someones house.

Something that I have grown to love is volleyball. When we were in fourth grade Em introduced me to it and it has become one of the things that I love most!! I really enjoy hitting and even though I’m not the best at it defense is fun!

I hope that you enjoy our blog and that you are as excited as we are about it!!!

Hi there. My name is Ally, short for Alex, short for Alexandra. Living in a small town with just my mom, and my grandparents close by, has come with many benefits. However, I’ve had to learn many lessons.

I’ve always been a pretty social person. My happiest memories have always been when I’m around loved ones. I love being around people, which sometimes has its disadvantages, but that’s not the point. When I’m by myself, I also enjoy reading, arting, and watching my favorite movies over, and over, and over again. Also being alone has caused my own thoughts to be overwhelming. Sometimes my brain tries to tell me that I’m not worthy of love. But God has always been there for me.

My grandma has been a never-ending factor in my life. She always says that things will go according to God’s plan, or that His vision for you is meaningful. My grandma has taught me many things in life, including selflessness and the importance of our Lord. As well as my grandma, my mom has additionally been a role model to me. As a single mother, I doubt things can be easy for her. But, nonetheless, she handles the challenges like a champ.

Adding to my divine posts, I will also be sharing my art, book and movie reviews, lifestyle advice, and mental health. I love musical theatre, movies, reading sci-fi, romance, (and everything in between), and food. 🙂 I’m overjoyed to be sharing these passions with you.
